Cindy KummCindy Kumm:  ELA

Hello!  My name is Cindy Kumm.  I started teaching 6th Grade English Language Arts at Hannibal Middle School in 2020.  Prior to teaching in Hannibal, I taught for fourteen years in Camdenton.  I graduated from University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education and graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a Master’s of Science in Educational Administration and graduated from William Woods University with an Education Specialist in Administration degree.   My husband Jake and I have a son, Bennett, and a daughter, Brayleigh.  Some things I enjoy in my free time are spending time with family and friends, boating, traveling, and looking at art.  I love being a Hannibal Pirate!

Christa Hampton: ELA

This will be my 6th year of teaching and doing what I love!  I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education 1st -6th grade from Hannibal LaGrange University. I also have certification in special education K-12th. I taught 1st grade, 5th grade at Mark Twain Elementary and Special Education at Hannibal Middle School. I am looking forward to teaching 6th grade English Language Arts beginning this year. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading books, hiking and traveling. 

Stacy GanderStacy Gander: ELA

I taught in Hannibal for 5 years, then decided to be a stay-at-home mom.  I returned to Hannibal School District in 2010.  I earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from Quincy University and a Masters in Education from Western Illinois University. I am certified to teach ELA 5th-9th grade, as well as special education, K-12th. I live in Hannibal with my husband, two children, and one dog. My hobbies include exercising, reading, shopping, and listening to music. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Stacey MuellerStacey Mueller: ELA
 
I started teaching English Language Arts at Hannibal Middle School in 2013.  I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with Middle School endorsements from Blackburn College in 2004 and a Masters in Teaching and Learning from Hannibal LaGrange University in 2017.  I am also the director of the Theater Club at Hannibal Middle School. I live in Hannibal with my husband and son. In my free time, I enjoy performing in musicals at HLG, spending with my family and friends and reading.  

Mary OtteMary Otte - Math

This will be my seventeenth year in education. I enjoyed teaching ten years at the elementary level and am excited to start my seventh year at Hannibal Middle School. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2004 from Hannibal-LaGrange University, my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction from William Woods University in 2006 and my Specialist in Superintendency from William Woods in 2011. I live in Hannibal with my husband and our six children. I enjoy reading, running, traveling and spending time with family.

Amanda RobertsAmanda Roberts- Math

This is my sixth year teaching and my sixth year at Hannibal Middle School teaching 6th grade math. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and my Master's Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from Truman State University. In May of 2020 I obtained my Specialist Degree in Elementary Mathematics from University of Central Missouri. I have been married to my husband, Justin Roberts, for six years now and we have a little miniature schnauzer named Sadie. I enjoy hiking, biking, playing just about any sport, and spending time with my friends and family.

Bethany ArmontroutBethany Armontrout: Math

I am looking forward to teaching 6th grade math at Hannibal Middle School.  I am entering my 17th year of teaching.  I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Hannibal LaGrange College and a Master’s degree in Elementary Administration from Missouri Baptist University.  I grew up in Palmyra and after college  I taught for 3 years in Elsberry, 5 years in Odessa, and 8 years in Centralia.  My husband and I, along with our two daughters, Hattie and Hayes, recently moved back to Palmyra.  We are excited to be back in town! In my spare time I enjoy exercising, watching sports, and spending time with my family and friends. 





Sarah ParsonsSarah Parsons - Math

My name is Sarah Parsons and I am in my 9th year in education. I am a highly qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Central Methodist University.  I started off my career teaching 3rd grade for two years and one year of 6th grade at Van-Far Elementary School.  I am very excited to continue my teaching at Hannibal Middle School as a 6th-grade math teacher.  I live in Hannibal with my wonderful husband Chris of 21 years  and our 3 beautiful daughters, Reigan, Taytum, and Finley.  I also have a German Shepherd, Oakley and three cats, Abbie,  Piper, and Juniper.  With any free time, I love playing golf, camping, kayaking,  having game night with friends, and spending time with my family.
