Brandy FlynnBrandy Flynn: Secretary to the Principal

My name is Brandy Flynn, I have worked for Hannibal Public Schools since 2007. Previously worked at the Board of Education as the Secretary to Assistant Superintendent and at Veterans Elementary as a Secretary and Paraprofessional. My most recent role with the school district is the secretary to the Principal at Hannibal Middle School. I have enjoyed bonding with the students over the years. Some which I have been with since Kindergarten. I currently live in the Hannibal School district with my husband Ryan and our 2 children, Logan and Kameron.

Jordan McAdams: School Resource Officer

Cpl. McAdams has been a police officer with the Hannibal Police Department since 2009 and during that time he has worked as a Patrolman, Field Training Officer, General Crimes Detective , and most recently a School Resource Officer assigned to the Hannibal Middle School. He has been a School Resource Officer and DARE instructor since 2019.

Joel CombsJoel Combs: School Resource Officer

Cpl. Joel Combs has been a police officer with the Hannibal Police Department for 10 years.  During this 10 years he has worked as a Patrolman, Patrol Corporal, General Crimes Detective, Narcotics Detective, and is currently the School Resource Officer at the Hannibal Middle School. This is his second year as School Resource Officer and DARE instructor. Prior to hiring on with the Hannibal Police Department, Cpl Combs worked for the Texas Youth Commission for 10 years where he worked closely with troubled youth who were being retained in custody facilities for various crimes.

Brenda CampbellBrenda Campbell: Cafeteria Manager

I'm Brenda Campbell, I have worked for Hannibal Public Schools in the Food Service Department for 23+ years.  I am currently the Cafeteria Manager at the Middle School. I love working with the students and watching them grow during their time here at the middle school.  It is a unique opportunity.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart Jeff for 35 years, we have 3 grown children and 4 wonderful grandchildren, who all live in Hannibal.  During my free time I enjoy reading, camping, traveling and having grandma daycare.

Angie OdomAngie Odom: Librarian/Media Specialist

My name is Angie Odom and I am the Library Media Specialist at HMS.  I have been at the middle school since 2005, where I have taught English and Math prior to starting in the library.  I graduated from Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and then received my Master's degree in Library and Information Services from the University of Central Missouri.  My husband, E.J, and I have 4 children, Mariah, Aiden, Caleb, and Tegan.

Heidi TameriusHeidi Tamerius: Connections 

This is my 19th year as a highly qualified educator. This is my first year in Connections as the alternative classroom educator. I taught 6th grade math in the Hannibal School District for the past 16 years. I previously taught 2nd and 5th grade at Bowling Green Elementary. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education in 2002 from Hannibal LaGrange College. I obtained my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Hannibal LaGrange University in 2012. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, spending time outdoors and reading.

Mary FreymuthMary Freymuth: Speech Pathologist

My name is Mary Freymuth and I am currently a Speech/Language Pathologist in Hannibal Middle School and HHS. I enjoy working with the upper grades and the challenges faced working with both middle and high schoolers. I have been employed in the district for ten years. I'm a transplant from Troy, Mo where my husband and I lived and worked for many years. I am a graduate of both Southeast Missouri State University and the University of Missouri--St. Louis. My husband and I both enjoy the Northeast Missouri area, especially the many conservation and farming areas. I am an avid fisherwoman and especially enjoy fishing in Canada in off the grid areas. We live in Palmyra with our three dogs, Riley (Boxer), Budroe and Julie (both English Pointers). 

Kimberly AstorinoKimberly Astorino: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist

My name is Kimberly Astorino and I am the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Specialist for the Hannibal School District. I graduated from Quincy University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sign Language Interpreting while focusing on special education. This is my second year in the school district working with children who are deaf, have hearing aids or cochlear implants. Before working for the school district I was an interpreter for a school in Kahoka. I was in an accident almost a decade ago that left permanent damage to my left arm, but I don't let that stand in the way of my passion for sign language. I have been married for over two years and we have a five month old son. I'm an army brat so I am used to moving around a lot, but now I live in the country with my little family and many pets.

I have 2 children, Dave & Amanda. My son Dave & his wife Michelle live in Minnesota with my grandsons Ethan & Ayden. My daughter Amanda & her husband Thomas live in town with my granddaughter Amelia. My hobbies are: fishing, sewing, & crocheting.

I started here in 2017. I have been a nurse for 40 years and retired from the hospital and came to the Middle School. I have been married to my husband Bill going on 47 years and have 2 grown boys and 1 grandson. Hobbies are quilting and fishing.
